Gencon continues to be the mecca for gamers.
Visited Darkson Design’s AE and Pulp City’s booth, and got to talk with both Morf and Rob, the leads for both systems. Lots of exciting things in the works for both!
I took lots of photos, but I must get back to the floor, but I will have reports on both this upcoming week.
If you can’t wait for the words, but want to see their great miniatures make sure you follow the images to

Thursday started out very hard this time. In years past I got an Education badge, as a teacher and attended seminars on Wednesday between gaming industry and Teachers. Discussing how games and gaming can be used in the classroom. This was an add on badge, that I purchased in addition to my regular badge. Since I volunteer on a regular basis and get a comp badge for the con, this was ok, and it did provide me with an additional benefit of early access to the Exhibit hall on Thursday morning (the teacher badge). All of this made the extra cost worth it, since I was able to visit vendors and photograph their products early for inclusion in my reports here at Miniature peddler. This year Gencon changed the Educator badge and required the purchase of a 4 day badge as part of the educator badge, this was a deal breaker!! (Booo Gencon LLC)
So I wasn’t able to enter the exhibitor area before the main crowd.
I lines for the first 2 hours of the hall were horrible. Lines to get badges out the convention door, Line to get into hall, line to get product at PP booth, another line here, another line there, there a line, here a line, everywhere a line, line! You get the idea.
Things settled down after about 3 hours in the hall, and flow seems to go much smoother!
Photos to follow.
I will be doing individual posts about some costuming, miniatures and terrain that I saw today. There are some great manufacturers out there and many new models and gaming ideas. Hopefully many of these will make their way to your local gaming store.
