Privateer Press has released the Warmachine Retribution October 7th Reinforcements. I received them today and have assembled and based them tonight. I’m waiting for the bases to complete drying before I prime and paint them.

Miniaturepeddler » Magic Wash Recipes.
I am constantly using various shading techniques related to Magic Washes to paint and finish my models.
Over time my links to various sources of this magic elixor has gone stale and disappeared on the internet, so I have gathered many of the best recipes and articles that I have found over time all on one place of my blog.
Happy dipping!
Someone else noticed that I had snuck some Malifaux models into the project of assembly and priming.
The first box set that I’ve been working on are the Guild Judges:

So the Heavy Warjacks and the Dawnguard Invictors are primed and ready for some paint:

As part of my Malifaux and Retribution army projects I needed to base the models prior to priming.
I do this currently with Liquitex coarse sand product at this time, which I picked up from the local art store Aarons. I use to use a product produced by Vajallo, but found the liquitex product was what they had modeled their product on, and the Liquitex was cheaper:

I’ve continued additions to my Warmachine Retribution force by adding my first two units and two more heavy Jacks to the force.
The Dawngard Invictors and the Dawnguard Sentenels have been assembled
Here are the Invictors:

I still need to add some basing materials to the Sentinels, to cover the slot gap prior to priming.
Here are the Hydra and Manticore Retribution Heavy Jacks:

And the only Malifaux model ready for Priming was one of the Judges, since I had to base the other four:

I’ve primed white so that now I can try a brighter scheme than my camoflauge schema that I used on the first Retribution group.
